Verify your email domain
Send order emails from your own address and keep them out of spam by adding DNS records.
Verifying your domain proves to email providers that InventaHQ can send emails for you.
Go to Settings → Email → Your domain. Type your domain, such as yourbusiness.co.nz (without www). Click Add domain.
A table of records appears. Each has a Type, Name / Host, Value and sometimes a Priority.
Sign in to wherever your domain's DNS is managed, such as GoDaddy, Cloudflare, Crazy Domains or your web host. Add each record exactly as shown.
Good to know: some providers add your domain to the end of the host name for you. If the Name shows send.yourbusiness.co.nz and your provider adds .yourbusiness.co.nz, enter just send.
Back in InventaHQ, click Check now. DNS changes can take a few minutes to a few hours.
The status shows Waiting for DNS, then ✓ Verified. If it shows Failed — check the records, compare each record with your provider and try again.
Go back to Sender and set the Sending address, such as orders@yourbusiness.co.nz. Click Save.
Stop using your domain
Click Remove. Emails go back to the shared address.
