Transfer stock between locations or bins
Move stock from one location to another, or between bins in the same location.
A transfer moves stock out of one place and into another. Nothing moves until you complete the transfer.
Go to Transfers and click New Transfer.
Choose the From Location and To Location. Set the Transfer Date and Expected Date, and add any notes.
To move stock between bins in the same location, choose that location for both. Each line then needs a different From Bin and To Bin.
Under Products to Transfer, search by SKU or name. Enter the quantity. On Hand shows what's at the From location. Choose a From Bin and To Bin if you use bins.
To transfer a kit's items, add the kit. See Add a kit to an order.
Click Create Transfer, or Save Draft to finish it later.
Open the transfer and click Pick Order. Choose the stock to take, including the batch, expiry date and serial number for tracked products. Confirm.
When everything is picked, click Complete Transfer, then Yes, complete transfer. The stock moves to the To location, with its bin, batch, serial and expiry details. The transfer is Closed.
Good to know: you can only complete a transfer when every line is fully picked and the From location has enough stock.
Work on several transfers at once
On the Transfers list, tick the transfers and click Start Picking or Complete Transfer.
