About 1 minUpdated 5 Nov 2026

Open a product and go to Stock Details to see these figures for every location.

FigureWhat it means
On HandWhat's at the location right now. Goes up when you receive stock or a transfer arrives. Goes down when you ship a sales order or transfer stock out. Adjustments and stocktakes change it too.
CommittedSet aside for sales orders that are Open, Picking, Picked or Packed. Drafts and quotes don't set stock aside.
On OrderStill to arrive on Open or Partially Received purchase orders. Drafts don't count.
AvailableWhat's free to sell: on hand less committed.
Virtual StockKits only: how many kits you could make from the items on hand. See See how many kits you can make.

Where stock sits

Below the figures, Stock Groups lists the location, bin, batch, serial number and expiry date of your stock.

Orders for a product

The Orders tab lists the sales and purchase orders the product is on.

On the Products list

  1. Go to Products.
  2. Click Show / Hide Columns to add On Hand, On Order, Committed or Available.
  3. Use All Locations to choose one location.
  4. Use In Stock or No Stock to filter.

Good to know: Non Stock products and Services don't have stock, so they never show quantities.
