See how many kits you can make (virtual stock)
Show a Virtual Stock figure for each kit, based on the items you have on hand.
Virtual stock is the number of whole kits you could make from the items you have on hand. The item that runs out first decides the number.
For example, a kit needs 2 chocolates and 1 card. You have 10 chocolates and 3 cards. Virtual stock is 3.
Go to Settings → Kits & Bundles and turn on Show virtual stock for kits.
Go to Products. A Virtual Stock column appears for kits. Green means you can make some. Red means you can't make any.
It follows the location filter, like On Hand. Choose a location to see what you could make there.
Open a kit and go to Stock Details. The Virtual Stock column shows the figure for each location.
Good to know: only stock items limit virtual stock. Services and non-stock items never do. A kit made only of services shows —.
