Edit, cancel, clone or reorder a sales order
Change an order, cancel it, copy it, or order its products from a supplier.
Open the order and click Actions. On the Sales list, use the menu on each order's row.
Edit an order
Click Edit Order. You can change any order that isn't Closed or Cancelled.
Lines that are fully picked are locked. To change them, use Edit Picking first. Changing prices and discounts needs the Edit orders permission.
Change what's been picked or packed
- Edit Picking reopens the pick screen.
- Edit Packing reopens the cartons.
- Continue Picking finishes a part-picked order.
Cancel an order
Click Cancel Order and confirm. Anything picked or packed goes back to available stock. Closed orders can't be cancelled.
Clone an order
Click Clone Order to start a new order with the same customer and lines.
Order the products from a supplier
Click Create Purchase Order and choose:
- All items — every stocked item, at the sales order quantity, or
- Only items with no stock — only items the ship-from location doesn't have enough of.
A new purchase order opens with the lines filled in. Once you save it, Open Related Order takes you between the two orders.
Add files
Click Attachments to add files such as the customer's purchase order. See Attach files to an order.
See what changed
Click Order History to see who created, edited, picked, packed and shipped the order, and when.
